Wherever I Am, is a collaboration between Ian F Ball and Yorkshire poet Philippa Atkin.
Originally a poem, written by Philippa, to celebrate the life of Yorkshire farmer Hannah Hauxwell who, up until the late 1970’s lived in an isolated farmhouse without electricity or running water. Philippa asked Ian if he could turn it into a song and this is the result.

Hannah Hauxwell came to fame after a TV documentary was aired about her, and her simple life, in the North Yorkshire Wolds.
